I am happy to tell you all that this year once again we had the privilege to welcome among us the renowned American theologian James Sawyer, PhD. He has been traveling to teach in Bulgaria in the past several years at his expense and without asking for any payment for the lectures. He is a real example of a mission minded scholar.   This year, with the cooperation with the faculty of the Assemblies of God College, he taught two subjects at their facilities - he almost dropped dead at the end of the week: ))) He taught in front of a big class of students in the capital of Sofia the basics of doctrine as well as the teachings of the early fathers. As always he was well organized and tireless. We are amazed at his stamina – he taught 5 days straight – all day long. Good job, Mr Sawyer.   At the end of the week, during the weekend he traveled with us to Stara Zagora where on Sunday we had a special Sunday morning service, celebrating one year of the establishing of The Bridge CoG (pastor and founder Stefko Zlatarov). It was a great time of joy and fun. Afterwards, we traveled back to Sofia, where our brother James spent some time with our family and on the next day had to fly back to the US. He promised to come again next year, and we already anticipate his coming to teach and encourage us with his wisdom. Thank you for all, brother!!!
